Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, after me there will be favoritism and many things you will reject.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, what do you order us to do if we live during that?” The Prophet said, “Fulfill your responsibilities and ask Allah for your rights.”
