I've been living in Saudi Arabia my whole life
there are no restrictions you can call it precautions ..it will sound more proper
one of the issues is the driving thing. . driving is not a right it's a mean to get where I want to go
going where I want to is the right here and regarding that there are no restrictions what so ever
women here work
participate in community
go for shopping
travel
owe properties and all kinds of items
and most important they learn in a well built and taken care of facilities in all education levels..
there are no restrictions tobe attached to Saudi Arabia particulary"
"What do you mean? The women of saudi arabia are happy the way things are. They do not feel insecure when walking in the streets. They have a government force deicated specially for their protection! The only women who feel annoyed by these laws are women that come from outside of Saudi Arabia! The prophet instructed us to cover our women and lower our gaze when they walk past us and yet you complain that they have no rights just because they cant drive a car?! THE WOMEN OF SAUDI ARABIA HAVE MORE HONOUR AND RESPECT THAN OTHER WOMEN !
P.S only people living or from saudi arabia reply cuz i dont want b from other countries to start replying"
"I think you didnt get that this post by the page actually says that the conditions for women in KSA ar good and that the US are trying to say the contrary."
"I have lived in Riyadh for 17 years and I have never felt restricted. What I have felt is respected and protected. Instead of just repeating the US funded media, you might want to ask normal women in KSA whether they feel restricted or not."
"I have gone through several comments and can tell you that these are not restrictions but in fact they are precautions that are taken to prevent free mixing. If Islam has asked women to cover them properly, its for there own sake. Woman are beautiful and there shin is fragile. This beauty is kept when they cover themselves properly to protect themselves from not only from the sun but also from lustful eyes. People who don't value Islam, even some Muslims don't know the value of covering themselves according to Allah's decree. Proper covering is to preserve the women's beauty and not by exposing them. Thumbs up for all women that covers them properly and keep it up dear sisters as remember that this life on earth is only virtual and not eternal."
"What American students would appreciate is that this university is government funded....no college loan debt for students."
