" There were two main waves of Moriscos into North Africa. One in 1571, after the Alpujarras rebellion, they settled mostly in Morocco, where they founded mighty pirate cities to harass Christian traffic in the Atlantic. Another one, larger in number, after 1614, the bulk of them settling in Tunisia thanks to the mercy and good judge of Murad Bey. In Tunisia, Moriscos built delicious towns where they developed a highly productive agriculture and fine works of handicrafts. The story of Spanish Moriscos is not one of failure, but of success and service to Islamic heritage."

"Not to forget, King Philips of Spain invaded Seludong also known as Maynila. The Malays there were forced to convert to Catholics, but some managed to flee to southern Mindanao and remained Muslims till today.
Seludong was renamed Manila, the country was named Phillipines and the Malays there now called themselves Filipino."
