Many people are turned away from religion by preachers who habitually seek differences and division, who build up their own faith by tearing down others. Yet Allah revealed himself in different languages, in different eras, to different peoples. Seeking common ground with others is a principled devotion to the truth. It was the way of the first generations in Islam to collect and share the sayings of Biblical prophets alongside the sayings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, a remarkable wisdom that has sadly been buried by the tribalism and sectarianism of shallow minds.
