Last kuthbah of prophet muhammad SAW Please copy and forward this to other people on your list and share please thank you..."O People. Lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefor listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.O People. Just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (interest); therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity.Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all interest due to Abbas Ibn ‘Abd al Muttalib (the Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived.Beware of Satan for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.O People. It is true that you have certain rights in regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives, only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat you women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.O People. Listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat.Perform Hajj if you can afford to.All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white- except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim, which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not therefor, do injustice to yourselves.Remember one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone. People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and ahl-bayt and if you follow these you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listened to me directly. Be my witness, O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people." The last sermon of the Prophet-peace be upon him- is known as Khutbatul Wada'. It is mentioned in almost all books of Hadith. Following Ahadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari refer to the sermon and quote part of it. (See Al-Bukhari, Hadith 1623, 1626, 6361) Sahih of Imam Muslim also refers to this sermon in Hadith number 98. Imam al-Tirmidhi has mentioned this sermon in Hadith nos. 1628, 2046, 2085. Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal has given us the longest and perhaps the most complete version of this sermon in his Masnud, Hadith no. 19774

At birth

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No person is born but that he is pricked by Satan and he begins crying due to the touch of Satan, except for Mary and her son.” Abu Huraira said, “Recite the verse if you wish: Verily, I seek refuge for her and her offspring from the cursed Satan.” (3:36)

Dan dianjurkan juga untuk membaca doa ‘Asyura berikut ini:

From a comment on Facebook
"Islam protects the rights of people of other religions to practice their religion, and apply punishments based on their belief system.

"For example, when the community of Jews in Madinah were deciding how to punish a man who had committed adultery and consulted the Prophet (saws), the Prophet (saws) asked for a copy of the Torah and asked for the relevant passage to be read to him. And we know this about personal law from many other sources as well. In history, the various Islamic empires had systems wherein different faith communities could adjudicate according to their faith and traditions. Other examples including alcohol consumption and raising and consuming pigs. Non-Muslims are permitted to do this in Islamic states. They are permitted to have their own courts for civil law (marriage, inheritance, divorce, etc.) and for infractions considered a sin in their own religions, Muslim jurists would rule by that - but not when it was a sin in Islam (e.g. drinking alcohol or eating pork) (see here). This kind of tolerance is exemplary and noteworthy for all those who claim that Islam is oppressive or intolerant."

http://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/581/how-law-applies-to-non-muslims

In this case, Saudi Arabia determined that this type of action is punishable according to their civilian man made law. They shouldn't associate it with Islamic law, because it doesn't follow what the prophet practiced or what the religion dictated. That's why I call it a civilian man made law.

Although, the laws of the country should be respected, I personally believe this punishment doesn't fit the crime at all in this case. Even if it did, the man is in his 70s. Fine him and pardon him or in a worse case scenario, suspend his visa and send him back to England. He lived there for 25 years and served the country well, I am assuming. Have some common sense and mercy.

Finally, please don't assume that Saudi is the authority on Islam. Their government is not an Islamic government. There's not a true Islamic government in the world today as far as I know.

This is my opinion based on my research. I hope this helps and God knows best. Please correct me if I am wrong."

Guys find girls pretty. It's no secret.
They will find you pretty, they will find your friend pretty, they will find their friends girl pretty, they will find their sisters friends pretty, their neighbour pretty. All average guys are like that, They find pretty girls pretty. Period. They will like your selfie + other girls too + day dream about celebrities. They are just wired that way. If Guys are smart, you need to be smarter. Average people are passion/desire centric, extra ordinary people are Allah centric.
If you want to dress up in a certain way for them, you're at loss. Because, they will always be looking everywhere nomatter how good looking you may be. Looking at you while noticing other girls even if they're "committed" to you. If your self esteem thrives on attention from the opposite gender then be prepared to be an insecure person your entire life. You'll be running from person to person inorder to feel better about yourself. Islam empowers you. If Allah finds you obedient you don't need anyone to call you beautiful. If your worth is with Allah it will reflect in the way you carry yourself. There are many beautiful women in the world. It's a never ending list. So many beautiful faces around, what makes you different ? What should make you stand out ? Your commitment to Allah. 20 years from now for young girls that's all that will matter. Your legacy is not in your beauty but the way you impart Islam to your children & the positive effect you bring into people's lives.
A thousand guys can find you pretty but if Allah finds you disobedient, your at loss. Men can't really give you anything.

Pleasing human beings is a time consuming & soul consuming task but pleasing Allah is easy & fulfilling.
Think of pleasing Allah. Have a big goal,Be a woman of Jannah. The average shouldnt excite an extra ordinary girl. It's okay to have slipped but you need to stand up straight, you may have slipped into mud once but dont try to swim there. Ours is a religion of coming back to Allah.

Also, not all men are like that. Men who fear Allah & apply knowledge of the deen aren't like that. They are good men. But that's rare, so be wise. "Good men are for good women"

In the early 1000s, the mathematician and engineer, al-Karaji, wrote a book on the extraction of groundwater for irrigation. Not only did he describe the engineering aspects of bringing up groundwater, but he also wrote of the legal aspects of water rights, and referenced the schools of Islamic law (fiqh) in his analysis.

Ata ibn Yasar reported: I met Abdullah ibn Amr and I said, “Tell me about the description of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in the Torah.” Abdullah said, “By Allah, he is described in the Torah with some of what is mention in the Quran: O Prophet, We have sent you as a witness, a bringer of glad tidings, and to give warning, (33:45) and to guard over the illiterate, for you are My servant and messenger. I have called you a trustworthy man who is neither rude nor loud in the markets, nor does he return evil with evil, but rather he pardons and forgives. Allah Almighty will not take him back until He has made straight the religion which is crooked, that they will say: There is no God but Allah, through which eyes are made to see, ears are made to hear, and hearts are opened.”

Abu Huraira reported: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, “I am destroyed, O Messenger of Allah!” The Prophet said, “What has destroyed you?” The man said, “I was intimate with my wife during Ramadan.” The Prophet said, “Can you find a slave to set free?” He said no. The Prophet said, “Are you able to fast two months in a row?” He said no. The Prophet said, “Can you find sixty poor people to feed?” He said no. Then the man sat down and someone came to the Prophet with a basket of dates. The Prophet said, “Give these dates in charity.” The man said, “Is there someone poorer than us? There is no family between the two plains of Medina that is poorer than mine.” The Prophet laughed until we could see his teeth and he said, “Go and feed your family.”

When Crusaders conquered Jerusalem in 1099, they massacred its entire population of 70,000 Muslims and Jews.

When Salah al-Din liberated the city 88 years later, he allowed its population to leave peacefully.

" Not only leave. He "escorted" the entire population through safe passage up till Christian lands."

" He also gave the jews and christians seperate quarters in the city to live in peace and prosperity."

" In the year 637 the armies of Islam lead by the Caliph Omar conquered the city of Jerusalem, the center of the Christian world and a magnet for Christian pilgrims. The city's Muslim masters exhibited a certain level of religious tolerance. No new churches were to be built and crosses could not be publicly displayed outside church buildings, but the pilgrims were allowed to continue their treks to the holiest shrines of Christendom (the pilgrims were charged a toll for access). The situation remained stable for over 400 years. Then, in the latter part of the 11th century, the Turks swarmed westward out of Central Asia overrunning all that lay in their path. Jerusalem fell to them in 1076. The atmosphere of tolerance practiced by the followers of Omar was replaced by vicious attacks on the Christian pilgrims and on their sacred shrines in the Holy City. Reports of robberies, beatings, killings, degradation of holy sites and the kidnapping for ransom of the city's patriarch made their way back to Europe. To the Europeans the Holy Land was now in the smothering grip of the Infidel and something must be done.

In response, Pope Urban II called a conference at the city of Clermont, France in 1095, concluding the eight days of deliberation with one of history's most influential speeches. Mounting a lofty scaffold, the Pope exhorted the assembled multitude to wrest the Holy Land from the hands of the Infidel and assured them that God would absolve them from any sin associated with the venture. His words fell on receptive ears as the crowd responded with cries of "It is the will of God!", "It is the will of God!". The Crusades had begun.

The First Crusade was the most successful in that it actually accomplished what it set out to do - conquer Jerusalem. But it had its problems. Responding to the Pope's challenge, thousands of peasants rallied to the cause motivated by a combination of religious fervor and the desire to escape their squalid condition at home. Led by Peter the Hermit and Walter the Penniless the hapless rabble marched across Europe to Constantinople, only to be slaughtered by the Turks soon after crossing the Bosphorus into Asia Minor.

In the meantime, the nobility of Europe raised an army of thousands that made its way through various routes and with much mishap to Constantinople. Unfortunately, many of these crusaders could not wait until they met the Muslims on the field of battle to demonstrate their religious zeal. As they progressed through Europe many Jewish communities became the target of their wrath and thousands were massacred.

In the spring of 1097, a host of over 100,000 crusaders joined forces on the eastern side of the Bosphorus. The combined army then fought its way along the coast of the Mediterranean reaching the gates of Jerusalem in June of 1099."

Tonight is the beginning of Ramadan.

The fact that Allah has blessed you to witness another Ramadan is proof that Allah wants to see you in His VIP list to enter Jannah.

Be sure to make the most of this Ramadan and prove to Allah that you are worthy of the rewards of this honor that He has blessed you with.

The great companion Talha bin ‘Ubaidullah (radyAllahu ‘anhu) narrated that two men came to the Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) and became Muslim together. After accepting Islam one of them would strive harder than the other. The one who used to strive harder went out to fight in the way of Allah and was martyred. The other man who accepted Islam at the same time as the martyr lived a year longer, then he also passed away.

Later Talha reported that he saw in a dream that he was at the gate of Paradise and he saw those two men that had died. Then through the gates of Paradise someone came out and admitted the one who had died last into Jannah, then he came out again and admitted the one who died first as a martyr. Then he came back to Talha and said: ‘Go back, for your time has not yet come.’”

The next morning, Talha told the people of the dream and they were amazed. News of that reached the Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) and they told him the story.

The Prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Why are you so amazed at that?”

They said: “O Messenger of Allah, the first one was the one who strove harder, and he died a martyr in the cause of Allah, but the other man (who didn't strive as hard and was not a martyr) was admitted to Paradise before him?"

The Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Did he (the second man) not live for another year?” They said: “Yes.”

The Prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) asked: “And did not Ramadan come and he fasted, and he offered such and such prayers during that year?” They said: “Yes.”

The Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “The difference between them is greater than the difference between the heaven and the earth.” ~ [Collected by Ibn Majah]

Ramadan Kareem to you all!

"The view that Islam is an inflexible religion is beyond my comprehension. To the extent that I can understand its laws, [Islam] can live together with non-Muslims in the same country; it can be at peace with them; it can enter into treaties with them, as well as in commercial transactions, partnership, tenancy, the exchange of gifts, loans, trusts, etc...There are countless laws and principles governing social order in Islam that reveal its consideration for and tolerance of others that are not found in other religions...This is the meaning of [Islam's] flexibility. But this flexibility does not imply weakness, nor a willingness to make false and forbidden acts manners of acceptable practice."

Yasir Qadhi wrote on his Facebook page

" Yesterday, a brother from Xinjiang, China, who is working in my city came up to me with a question. He told me that his relatives back home were asking: would their fast count if they were forced to eat and drink by the government during the day?

I asked him how the government does this. He replied that there is a public luncheon (for example his relative is a schoolteacher) and the Muslims are monitored to see if they eat or drink. So there are people whose job it is to check whether Muslims are eating or not.

I said, 'Is there any way for them to pretend to eat but not actually eat?' He replied, 'Not really, since the government monitors are checking to see if they are actually eating.'

I asked what were the consequences if they refused. He said that best case scenario is that they would eventually lose their jobs, and worst case scenario, jail and imprisonment and fines.

He told me that he had called his mother a few days ago to wish her Ramadan Mubarak, to which his mother, a very elderly lady, became agitated, changed the topic, and hinted at him not to even mention the word 'Ramadan' over the phone for fear of repercussion and harassment.

I told him that in such a case, a Muslim who is forced to eat and drink by a tyrant will NOT have his fast broken, and that he should continue the fast for the rest of the day and break it at its proper time, since Allah forgives that which someone has been forced to do. And losing one's livelihood, or threat of torture, is a legitimate excuse in the Shariah to make the impermissible (in this case, breaking the fast) permissible.

The brother thanked me profusely and left. But I felt such an intense feeling of emptiness. I just sat there in a whirlwind of emotions. Thankfulness that I am able to fast without such pressure. Anger at such tyrants for forcing people to break their fast. Sympathy with those Muslims that have to live under such harsh conditions. Bewilderment at how any human could be so full of hatred towards another religion that he would want to force others to break their fasts. Anxiety at the state of the Ummah: Gaza, Syria, Myanmar, Xinjiang...and the list goes on.

O Allah! To you we complain of our weakness and inability to protect those in need of protection! Forgive us for our own shortcomings and sins, and accept whatever meager good we have done."
