Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The world is sweet and green. Verily, Allah will make you successors in order to see how you will behave, so be cautious of the world and be cautious of women. Verily, the first trial of the children of Israel was regarding women.”

Sufyan Ath-Thawri, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “A woman will pass by a man and he cannot restrain himself from looking at her lustfully although there is no benefit in it. What could be weaker than this?”
