"going extreme with anything is not good. Going extreme makes you intolarant of non-extremists.
Too much of anything is bad for you. And besides; their are different interpretations (and sects) of the quran so you might pick the wrong one to go extreme on :) and you can't just follow the quran without understanding. People like him are here to help us and make us understand inchallah. Just saying :) "
